- Decrease pollution: In nations like India, pollution is a significant contributor to health issues. Exposure to unhealthy air while travelling is the main cause of health issues. If we able to reduce pollution so from the environment so it will automatically encourage to use transport vehicle.
- Reduce Time: Time is most important for everyone. Most of the people face delay of time when they use public transport. If these problems will be solve by our government so it will also increase uses.
- Increases access to the labour force and employment: Accessibility in public transportation has grown in importance in the design and assessment of transit systems in terms of mobility and sustainability. The perceived accessibility of public transportation, in addition to the transit system itself, has a significant effect on life satisfaction.
The government has created a number of policies, such as the National Transit Oriented Development Policy, 2017, the Green Urban Transport Scheme, 2016, and FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric vehicles, among others, to ensure an affordable, effective, and accessible mobility system.
